MegaTokyo

Today's comic is one I've been neglecting to take a look at for months, MegaTokyo by Fred Gallagher. MegaTokyo is an online comic and manga, a dounjinshi, meaning that it's about relationships and love and all that. Honestly MegaTokyo surprised me, it was more than I thought it would be. I ended up liking it a lot, and I read the entire archive through. The art is pretty good, although Fred seems like the type to miss deadlines somewhat frequently, I think it's probably worth the wait. So go check it out.

Joyce and Walky

Right-o, so today's comic is another one of my new favorites: Joyce and Walky!. I started reading this one shortly after finishing the Shortpacked archive, because they're both by the same artist, David Willis. The strip Joyce and Walky started out as "Roomies", a comic about a college freshmen named Danny and his friend Joe. We soon meet Joyce, and many other characters including the Aliens. After the strip takes some unexpected turns the Aliens take a much larger role, and Joyce becomes the new main character. After a while we meet David Walkerton, and the comic becomes "It's Walky". Now all the main characters are part of an organization called SEMME dedicated to destroying the Aliens, and eventually the strip becomes "Joyce and Walky". Also a couple characters are also characters in "Shortpacked". Confused? Try the Walkypedia, located on the side bar of both Shortpacked and Joyce and Walky. This is a good one.

Okay, I was in China. I was not neglected you readers (all six of you) or this blog. I'm very sorry that I haven't posted in a while, so to make it up to you I found an all new super awesome comic site: Shortpacked! webcomic by David Willis. This comic is about Ethan Seigel, a wanna-be comedian who works at a toy shop. He's a mediocre comic, but he really knows action figures, and the comic strip he stars in is definitely funny. The characters are lovable and the content is hilarious, so what's not to like? Definitely worth while.

Dinosaur Comics

After four day's of comic hunting, I have discovered a new sprite comic of interest: dinosaur comics. I found this one linked to the xkcd website, not surprising what with all the Jurassic Park references. Dinosaur comics is a comic of philosophy and dinosaurs, the same comic everyday with different words. Dromiceiomimus happens to be my favorite character, keep an eye out for her. Well, check it out.

Tomorrow's Nobody

I figure I owe it to you guys to explain who Chase is (see 2/5), especially since cereal doesn't really count as a legitimate post. Well, chase is an artist from the website Tomorrow's Nobody :: Free Comedy!. I can't seem to find any comics since the site is kinda hard to navigate, but there are some pretty funny flashes and movies. My personal favorite is David Forgets, in which Chase is a main character. Anyway, check it out.

Ok, maybe instead of posting on the fifth I'll get really sick and lie in bed for two days. That works too. Anyway, I have a really cool new site for you guys, Who Shot My Robot, Webcomics and Comic Strips. Who shot my robot is a web comic rating site full of good comics from different sites. There are some familiar comics on the site, some xkcd and Cyanide and Happiness, but the cool thing is all the new comics I've never seen before. Check it out.

Bleedman's art is some of my favorite, the plot is serious but the art and characters are cute, really appealing, and Bleedman has a huge fanbase. Today's comic is a lot like Gashopon Shop, The Lounge: Sexy, Cute, and Purrific! This comic, drawn and written by John Joseco, is about a girl taking over an anime manga and coffee shop for her ill father, along with an employee of the shop and her occasional and random friends. I especially like the art of this particular artist, which is why I got into it. The site itself is a bit hard to read, and hard to navigate, but once you find the comics your home free. Today's comic is one that my dad got me into, xkcd - A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language - By Randall Munroe. The art is stick-figures and and in black and white, but the humor is so charming and, well, humor, that you're sort of obligated to read. xkcd describes a way of life similar to my own, and similar to yours too I'm sure. Count Your Sheep

Today's comic is one that got into a while ago, Count Your Sheep. I stopped reading it for a while and lost track, but I finally got caught up yesterday so that I could reccomend it for you guys. It's a sweet Calvin and Hobbes type comic, clever and a little more serious. Heart warming, but also cynical and funny. It's written and drawn by Adis, Adrian Ramos, who also writes (and used to draw) No Room for Magic, which I'll post on when it comes out of hiatus. 8-bit Theatre

Sorry for taking so long to post today, I would give you an excuse but the truth of the matter is that I'm lazy. So anyway, here's my recommended comic for today, 8-bit Theatre by Brian Cleavinger. The link is Nuklear Power - Home of 8-bit Theatre. This is a comic for long time final fantasy fans, or any video game fanatic. It's a really funny comic about Square Enix's Final Fantasy I, all about the cast dealing with their uncontrollable hate for each other. Featuring all of your favorite characters, from black mage to black belt, this is a comic seriously worth looking at. The only problem is that the entire strip is some 936 strips long, so trying to re-read them all to get up to date is going to take a while, not saying at all that it isn't worth while.

I also suggest that you go to newgrounds, and type in 8-bit theater. The first five videos that show up are the really good ones, as they were created by nuclear power, but the rest are fan-made. Well, enjoy.

Cyanide and Happiness

Today's comic is a suggested comic from one of the readers, Explosm.net - Comics. These comics are drawn and written by four different artists Kris, Rob, Dave, and Matt. Though their style are similar, after reading them for a while you begin to see the distinct differences between each. Their comic, Cyanide and Happiness, is drawn simply and quickly, more like stick figures and doodles, but they get the point across and are in fact pretty funny. Be conscious, adult humor.

I happened to meet Kris at Comic-con of 2007, he's really nice. He drew me in the cyanide and happiness style, it was really cool. So take a look at this site, it's really pretty cool.

Hello all, time to share today's comic, Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire. I found it while digging around the applegeeks website, because the strip is written by Ananth, the writer for applegeeks, and drawn by one Mookie. At first I was turned away because the art is only alright, but after reading a little more I found that the plot is pretty riveting. It is a pretty cool set up, the title alone sparks interest. Hello everyone, time for my comic of the day. If you should check out The Book of Biff, you will probably find this link somewhere around it, gingerdead.com. Gingerdead is a comic about a living gingerbread boy and all his friends, drawn and written by Calan Ree. There aren't very many yet, so this is a good comic to start without spending hours reading to get up to date. The characters are grim but cute, and each strip is subtle and funny. This is another one of my regulars that I have to say I am hooked on, so check it out.

Snafu Comics

Good evening, everyone. Tonight I'd like to share with you some comics that are some of my favorites. The website is Snafu Comics, Updated Mondays, but you will find upon visiting that is a site filled with numerous comic strips. I suggest you poke around their site and find the comics that suit you. There are a lot of good artists posting there so a lot of the comics are worth looking at. Snafu is a video game and movie comic, Tin is about an incompetent ninja, and I particularly enjoy all work by Bleedman, but all the others never seem to update. As for the comics in the hiatus section, the comic called grim actually does update every sunday. Each strip is worth spending a little time on, so take a look if you like.

The Book of Biff

Has anyone here not seen Sweeney Todd yet? If not get out there and see it as soon as possible. It's rated R, for those of you are squeamish, due to a lot of violence. But as usual it's Tim Burton violence so it's more poetic than complete gore. Anyway here is my recommended comic for today, The Book of Biff Webcomic. This comic is suited for anyone really, it's a one panel strip, really funny in a cynical and smart sort of way. Created by Chris Hallbeck, this is a comic I sincerely suggest you check out, as it is easy to read and enjoy. Take a look, if you like.

VG Cats - Updated Mondays, is a comic by Scott Ramsoomair critiquing new video games and movies. Scott is a great artist and his comics are without fail painfully funny, when he remembers to update. As a webcomic geek, it is my pleasure to post my first and favorite webcomic, AppleGeeks 3.0. Applegeeks is a great comic for computer lovers, well at least apple users. Written by Ananth Panagariya and art by Mohammad F. Haque, this is one of my all time favorites. As it holds a wide variety characters and covers many topics, Applegeeks webcomic and Applegeeks Lite are deeply comedic and riveting. But mostly down right funny.
